Real Estate Journal- Chaska Gateway


Chaska is the scene of a new mixed-use commercial development that features a five-lot site.

The players involved are Amcon Construction Co. and MSP Commercial. The pair recently broken ground on their new joint venture development, called Chaska Gateway. The ten-acre site is at the corner of County Road 17 and Highway 212. It will include a retail strip center, office/showroom condos, free-standing retail, and an automotive center.

Amcon and MSP say NAPA Auto Parts of Chaska has purchased one of the lots and construction has begun on a 6,600 square foot building scheduled to open this fall. Amcon is also designing and building the center.

Amcon describes itself as a full-service design-build general contractor and construction management firm that has worked on a diverse mix of projects for the commercial, industrial, and public sectors.

MSP Commercial is a group of companies that includes over a dozen affiliates, which develop, own and operate office, retail and residential properties throughout the Twin Cities area.
