MSP Commercial will break ground next month on a 33,000-square-foot medical office building in Blaine that’s 87 percent leased.
It’s one of the few commercial real estate projects in the Twin Cities slated to start in early 2010.
The single-story building will be located at the northwest quadrant of Highway 65 and 109th Avenue Northeast. Minnesota Eye Consultants, based in Bloomington, will take 13,000 square feet, and Noran Neurological Clinic, based in Minneapolis, will lease 16,000 square feet.
Both firms are moving from nearby locations, said Alex Young, vice president, development at St. Paul-based MSP Commercial. The 3.5-acre site is just north of a Best Buy store.
